One Direction dropped their new album,
Made In the A.M., last Friday and is currently the #1 album in the U.K. With 17 tracks, the deluxe album does not disappoint. 1D's music has definitely evolved over the past 5 years and their sound on this record, in my opinion, gives off the camp fire jam session vibe.
Some of my favorite tracks:
Hey Angel: Reminds me of the early 2000's music in the movies. Definitely something that would be in an Amanda Byne's film
Drag Me Down: Very mature sounding. The song's been out since summer and I'm still not tired of it.
A.M. : This a campfire song feel. It sums up the whole album (where the title came from) and makes you want to go to the bar and sing with your drunk friends.
Infinity: Probably my most favorite off the album. It's so beautiful and so are the lyrics. The harmonies really make the whole song.
End of the Day: The coolest song because it's like there are two songs in one. Two different tempos and definitely a great road trip song.
