Christmas 2016 was a lot better than expected, but I do have to admit it still didn't feel like Christmas. I think I have to accept the fact that it's never going to feel like Christmas anymore. ANYWAY, I started off by sleeping in a little bit (until 10am), put on my ugly Christmas sweater, and gave my mom a hug. We wanted to open gifts, but I had to wait because everyone else was still sleeping😧 Finally, everyone woke up and I gave my family their gifts and they loved them and I was so so happy. I opened my gifts and I think I was the most excited about my Amazon gift card (LOL).
We continued the day watching Christmas movies and munching on some Latkes that my mom made, which were UH-MAZING. I think I ate about 6 of them. Then we ordered some Chinese takeout and we were basically in a food coma for the rest of the night, especially since we also had Chinese food just the night before.
My favorite part of the day was when I put a headband on my dog and we took selfies and let me tell you, we were rocking our outfits. Check it out below:
